Centenary Stage Company celebrates the artistry of dance in the Lackland Center with the ever - popular annual Dance Fest.  This year's Dance Fest will feature Moe-tion Dance Theatre on Thursday, March 31 at 7:30pm, a double feature with 10 Hairy Legs on Saturday, April 2 at 2pm and 8pm and, finally, Nimbus Dance Works on Sunday, April 3 at 5pm.  All performances will be held in the Sitnik Theatre of Centenary Stage Company's Lackland Center.

The sounds of the blues fills Centenary Stage Company's Lackland Center on Saturday February 6 at 8pm with legendary blues musician Guy Davis and special guest harmonica player Fabrizio Poggi. 'Davis' folksy and humble stage presence, combined with his humorous monologues, made one feel that this was not a concert, but rather, an impromptu performance on a front porch down in some southern swamp. PUBLIQuartet will be bringing their "biting force and zesty snap pizzicatos.' (Strad Magazine) to Centenary Stage Company on Sunday, February 14 at 2pm.  Named a 2013 CAG New Music/New Places Ensemble, PUBLIQuartet's creative, interactive programming brings a fresh perspective to the classical music scene.  Drawing on jazz, world, and electro-acoustic influences, PUBLIQuartet pairs music from the classical repertoire with contemporary works, original compositions, and open-form improvisations that expand the stylistic norms of the string quartet.

Mother Nature may have cooled things down a bit but Centenary Stage Company is set to melt away the snow and those wintery blues with a jam packed weekend of red hot jazz.  Saturday, January 30 at 8pm in the Sitnik Theater join CSC and the Matt Baker Quartet in "An Oscar Moment" celebrating the life and works of the great Oscar Peterson.  A little snow may have set her back but hasn't deterred this west Canadian native, "poised to be one of the most versatile and imposing musicians of her generation.' Registration for Centenary Stage Company's Young Performers Workshop Spring Session Now Open

Celebrating over 20 years of acclaimed musical theatre training for young thespians, the Centenary Stage Company's Young Performers Workshop Spring Session registration is now open to new and returning applicants. This 15-week intensive program has been designed to meet the needs of beginning, intermediate and advanced performers interested in working in the theatre. The hands-on program utilizes both the classroom and the "production process" to train young people in the theatre arts. The program includes the production of musicals and one-act plays.   Led by theatre, TV and film veteran Michael Blevins, the spring session will run from February 13 through June 5 and culminates in a Festival of Shows from May 27 through June 5.  Registration deadline for all applicants is February 26, 2015.
