Starting on Tuesday, May 7th, the six queens of SIX the musical will be in town for a week performing the hit Broadway show about the six wives of Henry VIII. Among them is 23-year-old Upstate native Adriana Scalice, who dazzles audiences with her portrayal of one of history's most intriguing monarchs, Catherine Parr.
Recently, we had the chance to talk with Rosie Sheehy about taking on the role of Helen Jones, or “The Young Woman,” in Machinal. We discussed what compelled her to join this production, what it is like being a part of a work based on the real life of a woman and what she hopes audiences take away from the piece.

Today’s subject Katherine Goforth is someone who can definitely be called a breakthrough artist to be sure. She is the inaugural recipient of Washington National Opera’s True Voice Award for transgender and non-binary singers.
