BPA Theatre School enrollment for winter classes is now open for pupils of all ages. Under the fun, clever, and insightful tutelage of Kate Drummond, students (ages 4 - 7) in Creative Drama will explore the elements of theatre and learn to use their faces, bodies, and voices to tell a story. Kate will also lead students from grades 1 - 3 as they learn two song-and-dance numbers and engage in goofy, imaginative skill-building theatre games in Introduction to Musical Theatre.

BPA Theatre School is thrilled to collaborate with Bainbridge Dance Center on the Bainbridge to Broadway series this winter. For grades 2 - 4, students in Bainbridge to Broadway - Musical Movie Stars will learn the ropes of what it takes to mount a musical and gain a historical on how the movie musical evolved through the decades. In this inaugural joint venture, BDC student choreographers will work directly with our BPA theatre students. As part of the new collaboration with Bainbridge Dance Center, students from grades 5 - 8 in Bainbridge to Broadway - Magnificent Movie Machine will bring some of their favorite stars to life on our stage: From Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers to Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone; from Guys and Dolls to the Muppets, and from 42nd Street to Madison Avenue North! Students from both Bainbridge to Broadway classes will perform The Movie Musical Machine in the BPA Theatre School Winter Showcase on March 28 & 29.

In BPA's Teen Lab: Intermediate Acting led byPete Benson and Ann Wilkinson Ellis, students (ages 12 and up) will explore a variety of acting methods and styles through a series of intensive exercises, improv games, culminating in a performance of two One-Act plays in a black box setting on April 19 & 20 with performances Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. plus April 26 - 28, with performances Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. plus Sunday at 3:00 p.m., and a special Pay-What-You-Can Preview Thursday, April 18 & 7:00 p.m.
