An Evening With Lyle Lovett And Robert Earl Keen Comes To Van Wezel

Celebrate An Evening with Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Tuesday, November 6 at 8 p.m. as two of Texas' favorite voices come together for a night of nostalgic musicianship. The pair of longtime friends and legends have recently been announced as the opening act for George Strait at the 2019 RodeoHouston. The Van Wezel is thrilled to have both superstars, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen, featured on the lineup this season.

Singer, composer and actor, Lyle Lovett's career has spanned 14 albums. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, Lyle fuses elements of Americana, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in his live performances.

Now three-decades on from the release of his debut album, and with nineteen albums to his name, Lyle's college buddy, Robert Earl Keen, remains as committed to and inspired by his muse as ever. From his humble beginnings on the Texas folk scene, he's blazed a trail that's earned him living-legend (not to mention pioneer) status in the Americana music world. "Whenever Kindness Fails," "A Bigger Piece of Sky" and "The Road Goes on Forever" have made him a songwriter's songwriter.

Tickets are $37-$87. Purchase at VanWezel.org, the Box Office or by calling 941-953-3368. This show is sponsored by Morton's Gourmet Market & Catering and 92.1 CTQ. Groups of 10 or more should contact (941) 363-2025.
