Teatro Audaz Continues Season with OPENING DOORS

Teatro Audaz continues their 2018-19 season with "Opening Doors", coming out stories from local San Antonio community members, actors and activists, and Teatro Audaz San Antonio's homage to The Moth radio hour on NPR.

"Opening Doors" is a show which will discuss the struggles, trials and tribulations of those who may have paved the way in the Gay and Lesbian scene, to those who have barely started their story. This show will be presented in conjunction with the Bonham Exchange San Antonio, San Antonio's current oldest Alternative Nightclub in The Ballroom. There will also be several pop-up organizations to visit prior, during intermission and after the performance.

Synopsis: Based on "The Moth" from NPR, our Teatro Audaz rendition will you leave you speechless and spellbound as a diversity of individuals will share their curated coming out stories of pain, love and loss; as "The Moth" so eloquently states "it is beyond theatre, where entertainment and enlightenment merge."

Tickets are $20-$15 for Senior Citizens and SATCO members and are available through Teatro Audaz's website www.teatroaudaz.com. Due to the performance venue, patrons under the age of 18 will not be admitted. We will have VIP tables that will be available for purchase; more information will be coming!
