Broadway at the Eccles 19-20 Season to Include FROZEN, DEAR EVAN HANSEN, and More

The 2019-2020 Zions Bank Broadway at the Eccles season has been announced.

"We are delighted to announce our 2019-2020 season on the heels of a record-breaking engagement of Wicked which brought more than 100,000 people downtown to the Eccles Theater," says Bruce Granath, Broadway Across America VP. "The extraordinary demand for touring Broadway in Utah is the reason we can announce that our 2019-2020 season will include Disney's Frozen and Dear Evan Hansen, two of the most popular shows currently on Broadway, as part of an incredible 6-show season package."

The 6-show season package includes - Miss Saigon, A Christmas Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Dear Evan Hansen, Disney's Frozen, and Anastasia.

Back by popular demand, The Illusionists returns to Salt Lake City with its Eccles Theater debut during the 2019-2020 season as special Add-On engagement.

October 15 - 20, 2019

For 3 years, Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he's fathered a son.

A Christmas Story

December 3 - 8, 2019

Fiddler on the Roof

Tony-winning director Bartlett Sher and the team behind South Pacific, The King and I, and 2017 Tony-winning Best Play Oslo, bring a fresh and authentic vision to this beloved theatrical masterpiece from Tony winner Joseph Stein and Pulitzer Prize winners Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick.

The original production won ten Tony Awards, including a special Tony for becoming the longest-running Broadway musical of all time. You'll be there when the sun rises on this new production, with stunning movement and dance from acclaimed Israeli choreographer Hofesh Shechter, based on the original staging by Jerome Robbins. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family.

ANASTASIA features a book by celebrated playwright Terrence McNally, a lush new score by Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics) with direction by Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak.
