There is a great new, very intimate, music series in Rockland County that happens once a month in Sloatsburg, called Music at Harmony Hall. It takes place on Sundays at 4pm and there have already been so many great performers and there is more to come before the series wraps for the season in May.

Harmony Hall/Sloat House only sits 60 paid patrons. The folks there have wine, beer, coffee, water and snacks as they are raising funds to help with construction of the old Mansion (built in 1840) and turn it into a Cultural Center. It's also the place where the annual Highlands Bluegrass Festival takes place each September (on the front lawn).

Carter Calvert is best known for originating her role in the Tony®-nominated Broadway musical It Ain't Nothin' But The Blues alongside Grammy® winning jazz vocalist Gregory Porter. She is featured on the cast recording and starred in the show's national tour. Other tours include the title role in "Always Patsy Cline" opposite Sally Struthers, the featured role of 'Grizabella' in the Broadway national touring company of Cats. the European tour of Smokey Joe's Café.BWW PREVIEW: WALKIN' AFTER MIDNIGHT - A TRIBUTE TO PATSY CLINE at Harmony Hall, Sloatsburg, N.Y.
