PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Comes to Beacon Theatre Workshop

For their fall production, Beacon Theatre Workshop is bringing the Northern Rhode Island community to Neverland!

Peter and the Starcatcher, a play by Rick Elice, is a Peter Pan prequel story based on the novel by David Barry and Ridley Pearson. Peter and the Starcatcher won the Tony Award for Best Play in 2012. This production will bring you right back to your childhood to relive memories of playing pretend with friends. The show is interactive and encourages audience participation on a wild ride of fun involving pirates, secret treasure, action, adventure, and even a little magic. This immersive theatre experience is full of captivating musical performances and surprises around every corner.

Led by Theatre Director, Jason Robert LeClair, Beacon's Thespian Troupe 7444 has been preparing for this production since August. This show kicks off Beacon's 2018-2019 season, focusing on themes of family and identity. Students from 22 cities and towns across the state will participate, bringing together multiple communities to celebrate theatre arts. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students or children.
