Lakewood Theatre Company Presents ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER For Three Performances Only The Lost Treasures Collection, a series of rarely performed musical gems, is back for a ninth season at Lakewood Theatre Company on its Side Door Stage. This year three musicals featuring the theme "Hey, Look Us Over," will be presented in a concert/cabaret style. The shows are presented script-in-hand, with minimal staging. No sets, no props (free from the usual trappings of a fully staged production). The ninth season includes: On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (Oct 19-20, 2018), Promises, Promises (Feb. 15-16, 2019), and Wildcat (April 12-13, 2019)

The first offering of the series, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, will have only three performances: Friday, October 19 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, October 20 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. This musical from 1965 has a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner (Brigadoon, My Fair Lady) and music by Burton Lane (Finian's Rainbow). Food and beverages are available for purchase before and during the show. Lakewood's production is directed by Ron Daum and the musical director is Jeffrey Michael Kauffman. Performances are on Lakewood's Side Door stage at Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego, Oregon. The series sponsor is Fritz Camp, and the curatorial sponsors are Jaye W. Taylor, Rob Le Chevallier & Buckley Law P.C.

The Story: On a Clear Day You Can See Forever centers on Daisy Gamble (Shirley Address), a woman of extrasensory talents-she sings and flowers bloom, and she always knows where you've placed your keys-but it's her smoking habit that leads her to Dr. Mark Bruckner (Corey Brunish), a psychiatrist who will attempt to hypnotize her addiction away. In Daisy, Dr. Bruckner discovers the case-and perhaps the love-of his life as he unlocks her past self, an 18th-century British aristocrat named Melinda Welles. The cast of Lakewood's production will also include Alan Anderson, Joey Cote, Leslie Irene Gale, and Bobby Jackson.

Ticket prices are $20 for all seats. Contact the Lakewood Theatre Box Office at (503) 635-3901 or order online at http://www.lakewood-center.org/

Lakewood Theatre Company's Side Door Stage is located in the Community Meeting Room at Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State Street in Lake Oswego. Food and beverages are available to purchase before and during the show.
