Hollywood legend Glenn Close joins Hoda Kotb the TODAY studio to discuss her new film, “The Wife,” which is already gaining early Oscar buzz. Close opens about working with her daughter, actress Annie Starke, who portrays a young version of Close's character. Close says she left purposely left the set on days Starke was shooting. “She's naturally talented and I thought it's between her and the director,” Close said. “You don't want your Mom around!”

To encourage shelter pet adoption during the holiday season, the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic Broadway hit Cats have teamed up with The Shelter Pet Project to help these furry friends find their forever homes. As part of the partnership, the Cats cast took part in a purr-fect PSA to reinforce the importance of shelter pet adoption and how adoption has personally impacted their lives. Watch the PSA below!

When embarking upon her latest album, Encore, icon Barbra Streisand was inspired by one of Broadway's favorite leading men, Hugh Jackman. In her latest interview with 60 Minutes, Streisand discusses how Jackman's voice was the starting point for the album's core concept: creating 'mini scenes' through dialogue and duets with film stars. On the album, Streisand and Jackman sing the previously unproduced 'Any Moment Now' by the late, celebrated composer Marvin Hamlisch. This rendition of the song tells the story of a couple that has reached the breaking point in their marriage, and the video features clips from Streisand and Jackman's recording session for the track.

Happy Birthday, Judy Kuhn! Kuhn made her Broadway debut was in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She then played Cosette in the 1987 multiple award winning Broadway production of Les Miserables brought her the first Tony Award nomination. The following year, Kuhn took on a transfer from London's West End, playing one of the main roles (Florence Vassy) in the Trevor Nunn-directed Chess, with music by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus (formerly of ABBA) and lyrics by Tim Rice. Later in 1993, Kuhn played the role of Betty Schaefer in the U.S premier production of Sunset Boulevard at the Shubert Theatre in Los Angeles. Kuhn sang the title role in the 1995 Disney animated film, Pocahontas, the film included her rendition of the song Colors of the Wind, which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for its composers Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz. On October 23, 2007, Kuhn returned to the Broadway Production of Les Miserables after 20 years, but this time assuming the role of Fantine.
