Directed by Leigh Silverman and choreographed by Sam Pinkleton, the opening of 'Soft Power' is set for May 16. Following its run at the Ahmanson, 'Soft Power' will play San Francisco's Curran from June 20 through July 8, 2018.

Marcus Institute for Vocal Arts presents Jean-Philippe Rameau's opera, Hippolyte et Aricie, conducted by Stephen Stubbs and directed by Stephen Wadsworth with choreographed by Zack Winokur. The opera features singers from Juilliard's Marcus Institute for Vocal Arts, Juilliard Historical Performance's period-instrument ensemble Juilliard415, and dancers from Juilliard's Dance Division.

The new musical Bright Star, from Grammy and Emmy winner Steve Martin and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Edie Brickell, will begin performances on Broadway on Thursday, February 25, 2016 with an official Broadway opening night on Thursday, March 24 at the Cort Theatre. Just last night, Manhattan Concert Productions brought the Drama Desk and Tony Award-winning score of PARADE back to Lincoln Center, where it all began in 1998. PARADE was brought to life for one night only at Avery Fisher Hall. Three-time Tony Award winner and original composer Jason Robert Brown conducted a star-studded cast and full chorus, joined by Olivier Award nominee Gary Griffin as director, and Tom Murray as music supervisor.
