Tony Award-winning tap dancer and choreographer (Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk) Savion Glover returns to scorch the Merrill stage in his fi rst Portland appearance in over a decade. His new production, STePz, is an exuberant celebration of tap dance that pays homage to tap masters, while cementing Glover's own place in history. “There is nothing boring about his dancemaking…watching his latest piece is like going on every ride at the carnival” (The New Yorker).
