Disney's newest animated feature film FROZEN boasts not only one of the most Broadway-centric casts of any Disney film to date - encompassing Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad and Santino Fontana - but also a score by the man behind two of the biggest hits of the 21st century on Broadway, AVENUE Q and THE BOOK OF MORMON - the gifted composer/lyricist Bobby Lopez, who collaborates here with Kristen Anderson-Lopez, with a musical score provided by Chrisophe Beck. And, the talented troupe assembled extends beyond the songwriters to the directors, Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, as well!

The National High School Musical Theater Awards (NHSMTA) selected 62 finalists from tens of thousands of students to compete for the coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor and Best Performance by an Actress, earlier this summer at the Minskoff Theatre. Hosted by the Tony Award-nominated stars of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana, the fifth annual performance showcase featured dynamic ensemble and solo performances exclusively from the musical theater cannon. A new web series, Dates, Mates & Clean Slates, features Julie Kotarides (A Chorus Line, Surf!) and Stephanie Gibson (Spamalot, The Addams Family, and the upcoming R+H's Cinderella).. Earlier this week, Huntington Theatre Company raised more than $1,005,000 at the Spotlight Spectacular gala honoring longtime supporters Trustee Judith Krupp and her husband Douglas and visionary Our Town director David Cromer. The celebratory event at the Boston Park Plaza Castle was attended by more than 500 guests and featured entertainment from Broadway stars Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana (the prince and title character from Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella), cast members from Cromer's acclaimed Huntington production of Our Town, and a rousing sneak peek of The Jungle Book, which opens at the Huntington in September. The Krupps were celebrated by Broadway stars Fontana and Osnes, who performed Cole Porter's 'You're the Top' updated with 21st century and Boston-specific lyrics and you can check it out below!

The cast of CINDERELLA, now at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway at 53rd St.) crossed the street to the Ed Sullivan Theater last night to perform a medley of numbers from the hit musical on 'The Late Show with David Letterman'. Check out the performance below!
