STAGE TUBE: Stella Adler Studio Presents THE TEMPEST

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting's Outreach Division will perform William Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' tonight. The cast are members of the Outreach Division's Adler Youth Group, a free year-long after-school program. The students chosen for the program learn the same acting technique that helped cultivate the talents of Stella Adler alumni like Robert De Niro and Marlon Brando. This performance serves as a milestone project of the program, which has helped students gain confidence, avoid common urban influences like gangs and drugs, and provide a sense of community that will continue long after the program.

Carpio has officially assumed the role of 'Arachne' in SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, replacing Natalie Mendoza who departed the production last week after suffering a concussion at an early preview. Directed by Julie Taymor and featuring a book by Julie Taymor and Glen Berger, and new music and lyrics by U2's Bono and The Edge, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark is now in previews at Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street). STAGE TUBE: New Trailer Released for LITTLE FOCKERS

The threequel to the Meet the Fockers franchise, 'Little Fockers' will be released on December 22, 2010. As previously reported by BroadwayWorld, the newest edition to the Focker franchise is stage and screen vet Harvey Keitel (DEATH OF A SALESMAN, JERRY SPRINGER THE OPERA at Carnegie Hall). The movie will also feature the return of everyone's Focker favorites, including Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, and Owen Wilson. Additions to this newest installment also include Laura Dern and Jessica Alba. The movie will be directed by Paul Weitz for Universal and Tribeca Productions.

Written by composer Peter Boyer and lyricist Lynn Ahrens and commissioned by Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops, The Dream Lives On pays tribute to the legacies of John, Robert, and Edward Kennedy.

'Shrek Forever After' is the final chapter in the adventures of the beloved ogre, Shrek, and the first of the series to be presented in 3D. It is directed by Mike Mitchell and stars Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas. The premiere will take place on Wednesday, April 21 and the Festival will run through May 2.
