Nicole Scherzinger, nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for Grizabella in CATS, performed 'Memory' from Cats at the 2015 Olivier Awards last night.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Nicole Scherzinger just made her West End stage debut as 'Grizabella' in Andrew Lloyd Webber's record-breaking musical Cats, and according to a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Webber has plans to bring the show (and his new star) to Broadway. He told DM: 'Cats will now definitely go to Broadway again. It's very exciting.' On Scherzinger's future involvement, he added: 'I would very greatly hope she would do it. To do something like that in America would open up a billion doors for her.'He continued: 'She is what you might call an American theatre babe. I do believe she is the most exciting musical theatre artist I have found - well, that I have worked with - in very, very many years. I really do.' As previously announced, Nicole Scherzinger will make her West End stage debut as Grizabella in Andrew Lloyd Webber's record-breaking musical Cats. Returning to the West End for a strictly limited run at the London Palladium, press night is on 11 December at 7pm. Based on T. S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, the original creative team - Director Trevor Nunn, Associate Director and Choreographer Gillian Lynne, Designer John Napier and Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber - are reunited to bring Cats back to the West End this Christmas. Il Divo, the pop opera quartet whose members hail from around the world, appeared on this morning's TODAY on NBC. The group was joined by Heather Headley from Broadway's THE LION KING, to perform the show-stopping ballad, 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight.'

Il Divo, the record-breaking classical crossover group who has sold more than 26 million albums worldwide, met with the press today at Sardi's ahead of their limited run of live Broadway performances at The Marquis Theater with special guest, Heather Headley, beginning November 7, 2013. The band is set to release their 6th studio album A Musical Affair, on Syco/Columbia Records on November 5th. The Production will be presented July 26 – July 28, at the historic 17,000 seat venue and is directed by Brooke Shields with Musical Direction by Rob Fisher.
