BREAKING THROUGH, a world premiere musical, features a book by Kirsten Guenther, and music and lyrics by Cliff Downs and Katie Kahanovitz. The production is choreographed by Tyce Diorio and directed by Sheldon Epps. Preview performances began October 27, 2015 with the official press opening on November 1, 2015 at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. glory|struck productions presents an immersive, environmental staging of AMERICAN IDIOT, to be vibrantly brought to life in a yet-to-be-disclosed warehouse venue of Downtown Los Angeles' Arts District. Performances begin May 15th. Lindsay Pearce (soon to be on ABC Family's upcoming show 'Recovery Road,' and of 'Glee' fame) and Payson Lewis (bare, 'The Sing Off') recorded a cover of Green Day's 'Basket Case' (off of their Dookie album) in promotion of tickets going on sale for the show. Home Street Home, a new musical, will play an 11-performance run between February 20 - March 7, 2015 at Z Space, located in the Mission District in San Francisco, the producers announced today. Home Street Home features music by punk legend Fat Mike (NOFX), lyrics by Fat Mike, Jeff Marx (Tony Award winner, Avenue Q) & Goddess Soma (AVN Award winning writer/director), and book by Goddess Soma & Fat Mike. I HEAR VOICES: SONGS FOR PSYCHOSIS, a benefit concert with proceeds going to Medicinal Missions, produced by Kevin Field and Adam Kern with music direction by Kevin Field and Bryan Blaskie, was held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Rockwell Table and Stage. Starring Judy Norton of The Waltons, alongside Lynn Lowery from George A. Romero's The Crazies, and featuring a performance piece of a Ray Bradbury story, with Broadway's Jessica Snow-Wilson (Les Mis, Spelling Bee, Little Shop).
