NJTV, New Jersey's public television network, announced the premiere broadcast of its first national public television production, The Midtown Men Live in Concert!, debuting this month.

PIX 11 News anchor Tamsen Fadal recently went 'Backstage on Broadway' at Motown the Musical. Stars Josh Tower, Charl Brown, Bryan Terrell Clark, Raymond Luke Jr., and Nathaniel Cullors were on hand to show her behind the scenes at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, while Music Director Joseph Joubert and Hair Department Supervisor Heather Wright revealed some of the details that take audiences back to the Motor City eight times a week. 'Happy birthday to you,' MOTOWN THE MUSICAL! The smash hit, which celebrates its first Broadway anniversary on April 14, has released a new montage of show clips set to legendary Motown classics from the musical, including 'I Want You Back,' 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours,' 'Get Ready,' 'Dancing In The Street,' and 'Do You Love Me.' Norm Lewis makes his eagerly anticipated solo debut at American Songbook on Saturday night at 8:30pm. The show is SOLD OUT, and has been for weeks, and he has been in what he calls 'training' for the last few months. His musical director is Joseph Joubert (Motown, The Color Purple, Violet, Leap of Faith) and the evening is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander., for whom Norm did 'Javert' along with Hugh Panaro as 'Valjean' in last summer's blockbuster success of LES MISERABLES at The Muny in St. Louis.

As BoadwayWorld previously reported, Tony nominee Valisia LeKae recently announced that she would depart the cast of Broadway's MOTOWN because of an ovarian cancer diagnosis. To express their support of their castmate, the company united to perform a song written especially for her. 'I Am Here' was written by Julius Thomas III and arranged by Jason Michael Webb.
