Some of Broadway's brightest talents will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of pop superstar P!NK, accompanied by a 10-piece band playing brand new, original orchestrations of the singer's greatest songs. The previous sold-out shows included Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, and Justin Timberlake.

The company of 'REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW' was challenged by the company of 50 SHADES! THE MUSICAL to take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. They completed the feat after the August 28th show, in front of an enthusiastic audience, in turn challenging their Icelandic artistic directors, Josh Sassanella and the entire company of ROCK OF AGES on Broadway. Several Tony Award-winners teamed up to bring an adaptation of the 1988 musical LUCKY STIFF to the big screen. Starring Jason Alexander, the late Dennis Farina, Dominic Marsh, Nikki M. James, Don Amendolia, Pamela Shaw and Kate Shindle, the movie will compete in the 'Feature Film' competition of this year's Montreal World Film Festival. The concept recording for REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW OF RAGNAR AGNARSSON FURNITURE PAINTER is now available through iTunes. NYC's Rockwood Music Hall hosted a special launch party for the recording on July 15th featuring a concert by an all-star lineup of Icelandic artists including Liam McCormick (The Family Crest), Soffia Bjorg and Stefan Örn Gunnlaugsson. Below, check out a brand new video offering a sneak peek into the first week of rehearsals for the world premiere of Revolution in the Elbow of Ragnar Agnarsson Furniture Painter! Tony Award winner Cady Huffman and Kate Shindle are set to head the cast of Revolution in the Elbow of Ragnar Agnarsson Furniture Painter, a new musical with book, music & lyrics by Ívar Pall Jonsson, based on a story by Ívar and Gunnlaugur Jonsson. Performances will begin July 28th, with the official Opening Night on Wednesday, August 13th at the Minetta Lane Theatre, 18 Minetta Lane (just a few steps from Sixth Ave., one block south of W. 3rd St.)

This week's featured composer is Jeremy Schonfeld, who you can catch at the Cutting Room on January 27th at 8pm! Here is Michael Hunsaker singing Jeremy's song 'Cornerstone' at our concert at the Canal Room.

Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, presented its one-night-only, all-star concert of the acclaimed 1983 Broadway musical Baby at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, on Monday, June 18. Last night the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) and Broadway Impact launched the all-star Broadway premiere of '8'. The play, which chronicles the historic trial in the federal legal challenge to California's Proposition 8, was written by AFER Founding Board Member and Academy Award-winning writer Dustin Lance Black and directed by Tony Award-winning actor and director Joe Mantello. '8,' a new play chronicling the historic trial in the federal legal challenge to California's Proposition 8 will have its World Premiere on Broadway in a one night-only staged reading to benefit the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER). The play is written by AFER Founding Board Member and Academy Award-winning writer Dustin Lance Black and directed by two-time Tony Award-winning actor and director Joe Mantello. Black, who penned the Academy Award-winning feature film Milk, based '8' on the actual words of the trial transcripts, first-hand observations of the courtroom drama and interviews with the plaintiffs and their families. The reading is now completely sold-out!

Broadway's WONDERLAND played its final performance this Sunday, May 15 at 3pm at the Marquis Theatre in front of a packed house including many Broadway notables. The show played 31 previews and 33 regular performances. WONDERLAND began previews Monday, March 21 and opened Sunday, April 17. The production will play a National tour. As we first reported earlier, at the curtain call the show's love story mixed with real life, as Darren Ritchie, who played Jack the White Knight proposed to his co-star, Janet Dacal, who played Alice. Darren proposed to Janet on stage right after the curtain call with the entire audience in the house. Janet screamed 'I said yes!' In the audience, there were tears of joy mixed with the sadness for the show closing. Now, the first videos are making their way onto YouTube!
