What makes a hit Broadway musical? Not even the pros really know, as the cast and creative team of The Band's Visit proved in a recent conversation with Richard Ridge. 

Artists for World Peace, a nonprofit organization, recently hosted its 7th annual Broadway event at The Cutting Room. The show was produced by Broadway's own Sharone Sayegh and Wendy Black-Nasta, the founder of AFWP. Among the performers were stars of the Broadway hit THE BAND'S VISIT. Watch below to see the cast sing for world peace!

THE BAND'S VISIT features music and lyrics by three-time Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner David Yazbek, a book by NY Drama Critics Circle, Lortel and Outer Critics Circle awards winner Itamar Moses, based on the screenplay by Eran Kolirin, and is directed by Drama Desk, Lortel, Joe A. Abingdon Theatre Company presents its first musical with the New York premiere of The Boy Who Danced On Air, with music by Tim Rosser and book and lyrics by Charlie Sohne, winners of 2015 Jonathan Larson and Mary Rodgers/Lorenz Hart awards.
