AMELIE, A NEW MUSICAL will begin performances on Broadway on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 W 48th Street) and officially open Monday, April 3, 2017. Directed by Tony Award winner Pam Mackinnon (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?), AMELIE features a book by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award nominee Craig Lucas (The Light in the Piazza), music by Daniel Messe and lyrics by Nathan Tysen & Messe, and musical staging and choreography by Sam Pinkleton.

Producers today announced complete casting for the upcoming Broadway production of AMELIE, A NEW MUSICAL.

Center Theatre Group's production of 'Amelie, A New Musical' at the Ahmanson Theatre opens December 16 and continues through January 15, 2017. Based on the motion picture written by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Guillaume Laurant, 'Amelie, A New Musical' will have its Broadway premiere at the Walter Kerr Theatre, beginning performances on March 9, 2017 and opening April 3, 2017.  Check out a first look at the new trailer below!

Broadway Gets GLAAD: A Benefit Concert was produced by Kayla Greenspan and August Laska. Music Direction by Mark Galinovsky. On Monday, August 4th, eleven emerging and established Broadway performers starred in Broadway Gets GLAAD, a concert to benefit GLAAD, the leading organization in support of a positive LGBT image in the entertainment industry. Jacob Keith Watson recently made the move from Arkansas to New York.  In 2012, Jacob won the Lotte Lenya Competition for singing actors.  This past February, Jacob toured Germany performing a Golden Age Broadway concert and in October, he will be performing alongside Broadway stars at Symphony Space in Kurt Weill on Broadway.
