FIRST YOU DREAM—THE MUSIC OF KANDER & EBB premieres Friday, November 20, 2015 on PBS. The tribute to the legendary songwriting team of Cabaret and Chicago is part of the fifth PBS Arts Fall Festival and includes performances by an all-star cast of Tony Award winners and nominees.

It's been a while since Disney veteran Heidi Blickenstaff, a replacement for Ursula in The Little Mermaid, has sang of  those 'Poor Unfortunate Souls.' Below, watch as she belts out the classic Disney tune at a Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise!

Today in 2008, [title of show] opened at the Lyceum Theatre, where it ran for 102 performances. [title of show] is a one-act musical, with music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen and a book by Hunter Bell. The show chronicles its own creation as an entry in the New York Musical Theatre Festival, and follows the struggles of the author and composer/lyricist and their two actress friends during the initial brief (three-week) creative period, along with subsequent events leading up to the show's production. Writer/stars Bowen and Bell, as well as director Michael Berresse all won Obie Awards for their work on the off-Broadway production, and Bell was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical.

SOMETHING ROTTEN!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw, with music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, has been nominated for a whopping ten Tony Awards - in honor of Broadway's biggest night, the cast of the show has recorded an original song. STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was held earlier today, May 27th in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets. Hosted by HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH's Darren Criss, Broadway's best turned out for the annual performance - including Christian Borle and the cast of SOMETHING ROTTEN, who performed 'It's Hard to Be the Bard' - check it out below!

On last night's TONIGHT SHOW, Brian d'arcy James, Chrisitan Borle and the cast of the Tony nominated Broadway musical SOMETHING ROTTEN performed a medley of 'God I Hate Shakespeare' and 'Hard to Be the Bard'.

Paper Mill Playhouse presents the holiday musical, Elf. Based on the 2003 film starring Will Ferrell, Elf has a book byThomas Meehan and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Chad Beguelin. Elf will be directed by Eric Ankrimand choreographed by Josh Rhodes. Elf will run eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater now through January 4, 2015. The New York City Center Encores! production of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella, running for seven performances beginning tonight, April 2 - 6, 2014, is set to star Laura Benanti, Shuler Hensley, Cheyenne Jackson, Heidi Blickenstaff, Brian Cali, Bradley Dean, Zachary James, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Jessica Molaskey and Kevin Vortmann.
