The company of King Kong is bringing the show's larger-than-life puppet to the stage eight times a week at the Broadway Theatre, including Jon Hoche, who voices the gorilla live each night for every roar, grunt, snort and growl. Just last night, one of the biggest characters in Broadway history made his debut at one of Broadway's biggest theatres. The stars came out last night at the Broadway Theatre as King Kong celebrated opening night!

Producers of Broadway's King Kong, Carmen Pavlovic (Global Creatures) and Roy Furman, have just released "Queen of New York," a new music video featuring Christiani Pitts, who stars as Ann Darrow in the new musical.

Sinking Ship Productions presents the World Premiere of Powerhouse, a new devised play created by director Jon Levin, writer Josh Luxenberg and the Sinking Ship ensemble. Powerhouse runs from November 3 - 23, 2014 in a limited engagement at the New Ohio Theatre, located at 154 Christopher Street between Greenwich and Washington Streets in New York City. The cast of TAMAR OF THE RIVER, the critically-acclaimed and Drama Desk Award-nominated show produced at Prospect Theater Company, will celebrate the release of their world premiere recording with a one night only reunion concert on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 8pm at Musical Theater Factory (250 West 40th Street, 4th Floor). Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Seeds of Peace. Reservations are $20, $35 for one reservation and a signed album, or $50 for one reservation and 3 signed albums, and can be purchased at MusicalTheaterFactory.org. The world premiere recording of TAMAR OF THE RIVER, with music by Marisa Michelson and lyrics by Joshua H. Cohen, will be released byYellow Sound Label Tuesday, September 23, 2014, and is currently on pre-sale at Amazon.com. TAMAR OF THE RIVER was directed by Daniel Goldstein (Godspell), with choreography by Chase Brock (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Picnic). Jeremy Greenbaum (The Fantasticks) and Aaron Komo complete the cast of Prospect Theater Company's world premiere production of TAMAR OF THE RIVER, a new music theater work with music and book by Marisa Michelson, book and lyrics by Joshua H. Cohen and direction by Daniel Goldstein (Godspell). Previously announced cast members include Margo Seibert (set to make her Broadway debut as 'Adrian' in ROCKY on Broadway in Spring 2014) as Tamar, with Ako (Throne of Blood), Erik Lochtefeld (February House), Mike Longo (Hair) and Vince B. The Public Theater's world premiere production of FEBRUARY HOUSE, with music and lyrics by Gabriel Kahane and book by Seth Bockley, is currently in previews at the Martinson Theater.
