For 16 nights the series is exploring the best of the golden age of musical standards through to today's most dynamic songwriting. Two of the brightest lights from the new Broadway generation-two-time Tony nominee Gavin Creel and Stephen Oremus, the Tony-winning music director and arranger of Wicked and The Book of Mormon recently appeared in a secial concert for Lincoln Center's American Songbook series. The duo joined forces on February 4, for a special evening that mixes alternative rock and theater tunes with new material to create a modern American songbook. Recently, Richard pinned down one of Broadway's most exciting new leading men, Jeremy Jordan, still on a high ftom a breakout year that has included the leading roles in both Frank Wildhorn's BONNIE & CLYDE - now playing at the Schoenfeld Theatre - and Disney's NEWSIES, which is heading to Broadway this spring. A true star in-the-making, Jordan opens up about carrying two major productions, where he finds his inspiration and how he has managed to remain true to himself.

The American Theatre Wing raised more than $550,000 at their annual Gala last night. All of the proceeds will go towards The Wing's education and outreach programs. The event was held at New York's legendary Plaza Hotel in honor of Sir Howard Stringer (Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Sony Corporation and longtime American Theatre Wing Board Member), and included a special tribute to Douglas B. Leeds (Former President and dear friend of The Wing).
