COME FROM AWAY, which was recently nominated for 14 Helen Hayes Awards in Washington, DC, began performances at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre Saturday, February 18, 2017, and officially opens Sunday, March 12, 2017. Children's Theatre Company (CTC) presents the world premiere production of Dr. Seuss' The Sneetches The Musical which opened on February 7, 2017. Directed by Peter C. Brosius, the production is written by Philip Dawkins, whose many works have been produced from Canada to Washington DC to Los Angeles, and upcoming at the MCC Theatre (Off-Broadway), with music by David Mallamud, whose works have been heard atCarnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and Off-Broadway. The entire cast and orchestra of Come From Away gathered in Studio Q at CBC Radio this week to perform the opening number of their show, 'Welcome to the Rock'.

In a heartbeat, 38 planes and 6,579 passengers were forced to land in Gander, Newfoundland, doubling the population of one small town on The Edge of the world. On September 11, 2001 the world stopped. On September 12, their stories moved us all. The new musical Come From Away will begin performances on Broadway on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre and officially open Sunday, March 12, 2017.

Today, ABC News' Stephanie Ramos gave viewers  a behind scenes look at Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas The Musical, now making its Washington area premiere at the National Theatre from December 13 - 31, 2016.

This holiday season, Turner's TBS & TNT are going to turn the Christmas spirit on full blast with SURPRISE! Instant Xmas Carol, an all-new music special that puts a unique twist on the caroling tradition. The one-hour special – featuring such celebrity carolers as Conan O'Brien, Rashida Jones, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, Jane Lynch, Ludacris, Kenny G, Tony Sirico, Vincent Curatola, Joseph Gannascoli, A$AP Ferg, Three Loco, Samantha Ronson, Alfonso Ribeiro, Fred Willard, T-Pain and many surprise appearances – is set to premiere on TBS on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT). And the night before Christmas, Saturday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT), TBS & TNT will join forces for a simulcast of SURPRISE! Instant Xmas Carol. It will be followed by TBS & TNT's simulcast of the annual 24 Hours of A CHRISTMAS STORY marathon, celebrating its 20th year as one of television's most enduring holiday traditions.

Returning to the Durham Performing Arts Center from November 29th-December 4th is the national touring production of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Based on the short story by Somerset Maugham, RAIN will play now through May 1, 2016 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
