A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical played its final performance on the Great White Way last night, Sunday, January 17, 2016. In honor of the production's acclaimed run, the cast of the 'GGLAM' tour took it upon themselves to send the D'Ysquith of Broadway off with a tribute of TITANIC proportions. Check it out below!

To mark the occasion of Jefferson Mays' 6,000th death in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, the production held a funeral procession down West 48th Street, as cast members and fans, all dressed in mourning attire, followed Mr. Mays, lying in state inside a glass-sided horse-drawn hearse, to the Walter Kerr Theatre stage door. The Old Globe's presentation of Kiss Me, Kate, the classic musical comedy featuring a book by Sam and Bella Spewackand an iconic score by Cole Porter, is a spectacular revival in collaboration with Hartford Stage, choreographed by Peggy Hickey and directed by Hartford Stage Artistic Director and former Old Globe Shakespeare Festival Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak, who won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, which made its world premiere at The Old Globe and Hartford Stage in 2013. The Old Globe engagement runs now through August 2, with opening night tonight, July 9, on the Donald and Darlene ShileyStage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. The New York Times writes that Steven Lutvak, who composed the music for Broadway's A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, had given up on having a family until he met Michael T. McGowan. Bryce Pinkham, who is currently starring in 2014's Tony Award Winner for Best Musical A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, has even more then performing at the Walter Kerr Theatre eight times a week to think about. Pinkham is the co-founder of an organization called Zara Aina (meaning 'Share Life') which brings theatre to at-risk children in Madagascar.
