The video clip, from the second episode “Doorway To Where,” features Jane Krakowski, Keegan-Michael Key, and Aaron Tveit. In the clip, Krakowski plays Bobbie Flanagan, referencing the character of Billy Flynn from Chicago and the recently gender-bent character of Bobbie from the 2021 revival of Company.

Having found true love in the town of Schmigadoon, season two of “Schmigadoon!” will find Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) in Schmicago, the reimagined world of ’60s and ’70s musicals. Watch the new preview video from the season premiere of Schmigadoon, in which Martin Short returns as a mysterious Leprechaun to pass on a message to Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong). The message comes in the form of a song, which bares a striking resemblance to 'All That Jazz' from Chicago.

Jane Krakwoski has teased her big musical number in season two of Schmigadoon, which is titled Schmicago. Krakowski teased that the new season will honor ''70s, '80s sexy musicals,' teasing that her 'challenging' number includes a trapeeze, Sondheim, Chicago, and Cirque du Soleil. In a 'Cut for Time' sketch from Saturday Night Live, host Jake Gyllenhaal parodied Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in 'Dinner With the Dean.' The sketch features Chloe Fineman and Andrew Dismukes as a young couple who's dinner with the dean (Gyllenhaal) and his wife (Cecily Strong) takes an uncomfortable turn.

John Mulaney hosted SNL last night for the fifth time, and, once again, he and the rest of the cast performed a musical parody. The sketch, 'Subway Churro,' begins with a simple request to buy a treat from a subway stand and collapses into Broadway-buff hilarity.

Last night, Ted Lasso favorite Jason Sudeikis hosted Saturday Night Live. On the show, there was a sketch recreating a number from the musical Annie where Sudeikis plays a mysterious member of Mr. Warbucks's staff.

In “How We Change,” with the election looming, Mildred (Kristin Chenoweth) relentlessly ramps up her campaign. Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) face their true feelings for each other.

The first two episodes of “Schmigadoon!” premiered globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, July 16. The series continues with one new episode weekly, every Friday through August 13.

In “Suddenly,” Melissa (Cecily Strong) grapples with her conflicted feelings for Doc Lopez (Jaime Camil), rebelling against his archaic ideas, while Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) tries to court Emma (Ariana DeBose) the schoolmarm.

In the third episode of Schmigadoon, Melissa (Cecily Strong) and Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) have trouble staying together in the local inn because, the Mothers Against the Future contend, they are living in sin. 

In “Cross That Bridge,” when their first flings end in regret, Melissa and Josh agree to a new plan — which he immediately casts aside, prompting her to make a fresh start.

Keegan-Michael Key stars in the highly anticipated musical comedy series Schmigadoon!, which premieres on Friday, July 16 on Apple TV+. He recently stopped by The Late Show, where he told Stephen Colbert that he struggled to not dance to the music on the set.

The six-episode season, co-created by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, and directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, also stars Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth, Aaron Tveit, Dove Cameron, Ariana DeBose, Fred Armisen, Jaime Camil, Jane Krakowski and Ann Harada.
