Last night, Dorothy Michaels officially came to Broadway with the opening of Tootsie at the Marquis Theatre, and cast member John Behlmann took over BroadwayWorld's Instagram Story all throughout the most important night and gave us an inside look at everything from pre-show to the after party! The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park opens its 2015-16 season with the heartwarming, soaring musical THE SECRET GARDEN, based on the enduring family classic penned more than a century ago by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Winner of three Tony Awards on Broadway, with book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Marsha Norman and music by Lucy Simon, THE SECRET GARDEN runs Sept. 5-Oct. 3 in the Playhouse's Robert S. Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Sch?nberg's Les Miserables its on its way back to Broadway, beginning previews on Saturday, March 1 at the Imperial Theatre. Superman will return to the stage in the upcoming New York City Center Encores! production of It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman. The production will feature Edward Watts in the title role with Jenny Powers as Lois Lane and David Pittu as the evil Dr. Sedgwick, along with Adam Monley, Alli Mauzey, James Saito and Will Swenson. Superman will play at City Center for seven performances, March 20 - 24, and will be directed by John Rando with choreography by Joshua Bergasse and music direction by Rob Berman.
