TheaterWorksUSA's world premiere of the musical adaptation of Cat Kid Comic Club series by Dav Pilkey opens today, Sunday, July 30, at 3 PM. The limited run is written by the award-winning team of Kevin Del Aguila (book and lyrics) and Brad Alexander(music), with direction and choreography by Marlo Hunter and musical direction by Paul Staroba, and runs through August 27, 2023 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. TheaterWorksUSA has revealed the cast and creative team for the upcoming World Premiere of the musical adaptation of #1 bestselling  Cat Kid Comic Club series by Dav Pilkey.

The third annual In the Works~In the Woods at Forestburgh Playhouse, (under the leadership of Franklin Trapp, Producing Artistic Director for the Forestburgh Playhouse and Broadway veteran Matt Lenz, Festival Artistic Director and Director of Creative Development), will be held September 8 through 10.

Following the success of Dog Man: The Musical, TheaterWorkUSA’s new musical adaptation of  Dav Pilkey’s acclaimed and bestselling Cat Kid Comic Club series will debut at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Aspiring musical theatre composers have the chance of a lifetime to workshop their new musical with iconic composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz at the upcoming 2023 ASCAP Foundation/Universal Theatrical Group Musical Theatre Workshop.
