The Dallas Opera will begin the new year with the return of the annual Robert E. and Jean Ann Titus Family Recital featuring Chinese soprano Ying Fang and pianist Ken Noda.

Shriver Hall Concert Series (SHCS) — Baltimore's premier presenter of chamber music ensembles and solo recitalists — presents the Baltimore debuts of bass-baritone Davóne Tines and pianist Adam Nielsen in Tines' original program Recital #1: Mass on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 5:30pm. A pre-concert talk takes place at 4:30pm and is open to all ticket holders.

On the second night of the new season, the Met went for Mozart, with his early success, IDOMENEO, in a fluid and elegant performance, but it was hardly 'business as usual.'

Due to medical reasons maestro Riccardo Minasi had to withdraw from all engagements in May and June 2022, including the new production of Der Freischütz.

Ying Fang will sing Susanna in the April performances of Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro this season, replacing Aida Garifullina.

The Metropolitan Opera today announced its 2022–23 season, which features seven new productions, the most in ten seasons. Opening Night is September 27 with the company premiere of Cherubini’s Medea, starring soprano Sondra Radvanovsky in the title role alongside tenor Matthew Polenzani in David McVicar’s new staging, conducted by Carlo Rizzi.
