Greater Boston Stage Company has announced Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help directed by Weylin Symes, a comedy about family, faith, and saving face. Performances run March 3 – 20, 2022. The press opening will take place March 5 at 8pm. 

Greater Boston Stage Company will return to the stage this year with Season 22. The 2021 – 2022 Season will include a World Premiere, a New England Premiere, a comic adaptation of a classic thriller, an a cappella holiday musical, and something so special it's TBA!

Greater Boston Stage Company will present Empress Mei Li Lotus Blossom, written by the Obie Award winning Christine Toy Johnson, this will be a five day only virtual event.

The Lyric Stage Company of Boston announced today that Courtney O'Connor has been named as the third Artistic Director of the Lyric Stage Company of Boston. Matt Chapuran continues on as Executive Director, a position he attained in August, 2019.

Patrick Gabridge, Eastern New England Regional Representative for the Dramatists Guild, announces the Boston performance of Banned Together: A Censorship Cabaret, in partnership with the Dramatists Legal Defense Fund and PEN America. Banned Together will run for one performance only on Monday, Sept. 23rd from 7-8:30 pm at the Boston Public Library, Main Branch (700 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02116). Banned Together is a celebration of songs and scenes from shows that have been censored or challenged on America's stages. Award-winning Boston directors Ilyse Robbins and Weylin Symes helm the reading along with Music Director Matthew Stern, and featuring a cast of Boston-based professional actors. Free and open to the public, no advance tickets are needed.

The Greater Boston Stage Company presents the U.S. premiere of a new musical by Amiel Gladstone and Veda Hille, based on the poem by Pushkin and the opera by Tchaikovsky. The pop rock score takes flight, but the sung-through libretto doesn't rise to the same lofty level as the music. Depending on your point of view, ONEGIN pays homage to NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 and HAMILTON, or borrows from both.

Greater Boston Stage Company proudly announces the U.S. Premiere of Amiel Gladstone and Veda Hill's, Onegin. Based on Pushkin's masterpiece novel in verse and Tchaikovsky's stunning opera, Onegin tells the love story of the innocent Tatyana and the self-obsessed aristocrat Onegin. This soaring musical adaptation begs you to answer the question, "Look around, look around, look around, Do you see someone worth dying for?" Directed by Producing Artistic Director Weylin Symes, performances run March 14 - 31, 2019. The Press Opening is Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 3:00pm.

Rohina Malik returns to Greater Boston Stage Company with friends Kim Schultz and Susan Stone, and Lucia Thomas on violin, oud, and guitar, for Keeping Faith: Sisters of Story, February 22 - 24, 2019. With the recent uptick of hateful and vitriolic language in this country, Rohina Malik, a Muslim storyteller, wanted to create a project to demonstrate peace and commonalities between us all. In Keeping Faith: Sisters of Story, each storyteller tells three stories inspired by their respective faith journeys to create this moving and timely storytelling experience.

Greater Boston Stage Company proudly announces Tiny Tim's Christmas Carol, a joyful, family-friendly spin on a holiday classic. Tiny Tim is determined to have his father home for Christmas day even if it means teaching Ebenezer Scrooge a lesson in Christmas cheer. Adapted from the classic Charles Dickens' novel by Tony Award winner Ken Ludwig ('Twas the Night Before Christmas) and his son Jack, this heartwarming hour-long Christmas tale is full of family fun for all ages. Directed by Sarah Elizabeth Bedard, performances run December 8 - 23, 2018.

Greater Boston Stage Company announces Producing Artistic Director Weylin Symes' adaptation of one of the most iconic films ever made, It's A Wonderful Life. When misfortune befalls George Bailey on Christmas Eve, guardian angel Clarence swoops in to remind him of all the good he has done in the lives of those who love him most. A holiday tradition alive onstage, It's A Wonderful Life brings us the timeless message that faith, hope, and family make life truly wonderful. Co-directed by Tonasia Jones and Artistic Associate and Young Company Alum Tyler Rosati, performances run November 29 - December 23, 2018. The Press Opening is Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 3:00pm.

By acclaimed playwright, Liz Duffy Adams, The Salonnieres, set in pre-Revolutionary Paris, is an evening filled with fairytales, facades, and the feminist revolution.
