by Chris Arneson
- Apr 4, 2017
I've spent a couple decades successfully avoiding Jesus Christ Superstar. I generally don't like religion, and Andrew Lloyd Webber isn't my favorite composer. However, after attending the Arvada Center's current production, I'm a bit more of a believer…in the show, at least.

by Chris Arneson
- Feb 5, 2016
The Addams Family has been playing BDT Stage in Boulder since November, but even though death is just around the corner for this show's run, it still manages to be everything but neat, sweet and petite. (Which is exactly what an homage to the classic family deserves.)

SPAMALOT Plays Boulder Dinner Theatre, Now thru 3/1
by BWW News Desk
- Nov 16, 2013
Rude Frenchmen, cancan dancers, the Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls, killer rabbits, catapulting cows, and the somewhat odd Knights who say 'ni' are just part of the adventures and dangers awaiting King Arthur and his knights of the very, very, very round table in their quest for the holy grail. Lovingly ripped off from the motion picture, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot is the fresh and irreverent parody of the Arthurian legend. It was nominated for 14 Tony Awards, winning three, including Best New Musical for 2005. During its initial run, it was seen by more than two million people and now you can see it right in your own backyard as Boulder's Dinner Theatre sets forth on the quest for the Holy Grail this winter - playing tonight, November 16, 2013 through March 1, 2014.
