Sometimes, bigger is, in fact better. When Lyric Theatre takes up residence at the Civic Center Music Hall every summer, they capably fill that venue's enormous space. With their current production of Hello, Dolly! Lyric's entire team proves just how much big sets, big costumes, big cast size, big orchestra and big talent can all come together to create a perfect theatrical experience.

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce the extension of the John Kander and Fred Ebb classic, "Cabaret.' Because of overwhelming demand, three performances have been added at the end of the scheduled run, April 12 at 7 PM, April 13 at 8 PM, and April 14 at 2 PM.

Florida Repertory Theatre's 20th anniversary season continues with the John Kander and Fred Ebb classic, "Cabaret.' The production runs in the Historic Arcade Theatre March 23 to April 11with four nearly sold-out previews March 20-22. Florida Repertory Theatre is proud to announce that award-winning author, Lois Lowry, and Broadway playwright, Eric Coble, will be in residence on November 6 for a performance and post-show discussion of Coble's adaptation of Lowry's acclaimed book, 'The Giver.'

The Lexington Theatre Company is in final preparations for its second 'Concert With The Stars,' January 16, 2016, at 8:00pm at The Lexington Opera House. This year's line-up of stars includes Jenni Barber (Wicked, Annie, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Stephen R. Buntrock (A Little Night Music, Oklahoma, Beauty & The Beast), Erin Dilly (A Christmas Story, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Tony nominee for Chittty Chitty Bang Bang) and Kyle Dean Massey (Pippin, Next to Normal, Wicked, ABC's 'Nashville'), alongside collegiate and local talent - illustrating the mission of this new professional theatre company in Lexington, Kentucky. The show, written by the lauded pair of Adam Gwon and Julia Jordan, will run October 7 through 25. Based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald short story of the same name, the show tells the story of 18 year old Bernice Harvey's journey from socially awkward to the belle of the country club- and back again.
