The New Jersey Performing Arts Center celebrates the 10th annual TD James Moody Jazz Festival showcasing an all-star lineup of the country's best musicians, held Nov 5-21, including the award-winning Maria Schneider Orchestra, the New Jersey premiere of Christian McBride's The Movement Revisited, the Tony Award-winning Lillias White (currently on Broadway in Chicago), a special tribute concert to George Wein.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts celebrates National Veterans and Military Families Month this November with a series of free concerts outside on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza designed with service members in mind. Each Sunday, gather family and friends then head to the Plaza for an afternoon of live music curated and emceed by Air Force veteran and radio personality, Bubba Jackson.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts' renowned Jazz Series returns for the 2021 – 2022 Season with an all-star line-up that includes Cecile McLorin Salvant joined by Sullivan Fortner, Chucho Valdes, Diane Reeves and Joe Lovano, Veronica Smith, the Kurt Elling Christmas concert, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, the Dave Brubeck Centennial Celebration with the Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, The Brubeck Brothers & Dianne Reeves sharing the stage, and closing out the season is Matthew Whittaker. Jazz fans can also add Spanish Harlem Orchestra's Salsa Navidad holiday concert.

Imagine a night club gig starring Mel Torme, with Anita O’Day or Ella Fitzgerald as his guest vocalist, and the Oscar Peterson Trio backing them up. That’s the way it sounded in the Wick Theater’s Cabaret last night as the award winning singer Nicolas King had guest vocalist Veronica Swift and pianist Mike Renzi and trio on the stage with him. It was a musically sophisticated audience at the dinner tables for this show.. Everyone in the elegant room had reserved well in advance.
