Millennium Stage is a manifestation of the Kennedy Center’s mission and vision to welcome all to celebrate our collective cultural heritage. Millennium Stage will offer free live community performances, streamed live, plus online programs and film screenings, Wednesday–Sunday each week throughout our campus.

After releasing two albums under the name of “Staring Into Nothing,” the collaborative songwriting partnership between Kurt Barabas and Steve Rogers has evolved into a live stage production featuring all new music.

Road Recovery is dedicated to helping young people develop coping skills and teaching them comprehensive life skills while they battle adversities and face their struggles. The entertainment non-profit has now released the single, “Crimson Chaos” featuring Slash on major digital music services .

L.A.-based musician Sabrina Teitelbaum has a knack for crafting intimate lyrics that evoke visceral emotions, atop adventurous songwriting and addicting melodies. Black Opry Revue is coming to Knoxville in June as the first performance of the Tennessee Theatre's new series, “Pass the Mic: Creating a Stage for Change.”

Get Up and Go, a 12 record album, is written by lead singer Vanessa Ogle and Paul Bullock with production by hitmakers Jeffrey Trott (Sheryl Crow, Hootie and the Blowfish), David Kirshenbaum (Duran Duran, Tracy Chapman, Cat Stevens, etc), and Nashville’s Kate Malone. 

The WYO Performing Arts & Education Center welcomes Grammy Award Winner, Larry Mitchell to the WYO Stage Friday May 20 at 7:30pm.  The performance will open with local group the Rollin7s and Larry will be supported onstage by a few talented (and lucky) local performers.

The New York City Gay Men's Chorus has announced that it will be performing a preview performance of its concert, Beginnings - NYCGMC's first concert since 2019 - at Hostos Community College, 500 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY.

Bassist Bob Glaub (Jackson Browne/Linda Ronstadt/Bonnie Raitt), guitarist and back-up vocalist Brian Whelan (Jim Lauderdale/Chris Shiftlett/Dwight Yoakam), keyboardist John Ginty (The Dixie Chicks/The Allman Betts Band/Citizen Cope), and pedal steel guitarist Doug Pettibone (John Mayer/Tracy Chapman/Norah Jones) also appear on the track.

Charlotte Moore has announced the release of her new album Some Comfort Here, in digital format on Nov 12, 2021. Moore will celebrate the release of the album with a concert at The Medley on Thurs, Nov 11, 2021, accompanied by Mark Camilleri who also produced, engineered, mastered and accompanied on the album.

Breakthrough singer, songwriter and musician Joy Oladokun’s debut Spotify Singles session is out now. Recorded at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville, the release includes a new rendition of Oladokun’s “sunday” as well as a version of Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” with special guest Jason Isbell on guitar. Born in Arizona and now living in Nashville, her musical exploration began at age ten when she was inspired to learn guitar after seeing a video of Tracy Chapman—the first time she’d ever seen a black woman play the instrument—and has since gone on to become “a fierce voice demanding equality” (NPR Music). 

The release adds to an already notable career for Oladokun, who has shared three additional album tracks so far this year: “sorry isn’t good enough,” “jordan” and “wish you the best” featuring Jensen McRae.
