 HBO Max, the upcoming direct-to-consumer offering from WarnerMedia, will be the exclusive U.S. home of the period drama, Boys (working title), in partnership with Britain's Channel 4. Principal photography on the project began in October and is scheduled to air in the UK in 2020.

Based on a true story, Evan Placey's debut play Mother of Him tells the story of a Canadian teenager under house arrest while he waits for his hearing. We eventually discover that Matthew (Scott Folan) has raped several girls at a sorority house along with a friend. Although we don't see the world outside - every time the front door opens, there are flashes from the paparazzi cameras and shouts from journalists who are camped outside the family home.

A recognisable face on the screen and stage, Tracy-Ann Oberman has well and truly cemented her extraordinary versatility during a prolific career. Providing us with easily one of EastEnders most iconic character's as the murderous Chrissie Watts, Oberman seems to almost effortlessly switch from drama to comedy with Aunty Val in Friday Night Dinner being another of her much loved creations.  Starting her career with the RSC, Oberman has performed in a vast array of plays from Shakespeare to Pinter via Noel Coward. Park Theatre today announced their new July - December 2019 season. Featuring four World Premiere productions, two UK and London Premieres and a range of revivals from Broadway and the West End, the theatre also introduces a revised young person's membership scheme called Park Up.

Playwrights, directors and producers gathered at the May Fair Hotel on Monday for the third annual Tonic Awards, celebrating the achievements of women in theatre. In attendance, in addition to the aforementioned artists, were some of the theatre world's top movers and shakers, eager to show their support to a worthy cause.

Recipients of the third annual Tonic Awards were announced tonight at an awards ceremony held at The May Fair Hotel hosted by Tracy Ann Oberman. The awards celebrate the achievements of game-changing women, significant organisations, projects and productions that redefine the role of women in the performing arts, both on and off stage. The recipients of this year's awards are: Jude Kelly CBE, Alison Tickell, Open Clasp Theatre Company, Paula Garfield, Elliott & Harper Productions for Company, Shakespeare's Globe's production of Emilia, The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and Dance Umbrella.

The Jamie Lloyd Company production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal held it's press night on 13 March at the Harold Pinter Theatre.  The strictly limited season ends on 1 June.  Directed by Jamie Lloyd, the production stars Golden Globe, Olivier and Evening Standard Award winner Tom Hiddleston, Zawe Ashton and Charlie Cox.

Jamie Lloyd's star-studded season of short Pinter plays continues with two more intriguing productions: one directed by Patrick Marber, the other by Lloyd himself.
