Tony Award-winner Bonnie Milligan will host the 2023-24 Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at The Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College.

Charles Kirsch's podcast, Backstage Babble, gives a behind the scenes look at Broadway shows and the theater industry. On Monday April 29th at 7 pm, Kirsch will be hosting a special event at 54 Below paying tribute to 14 shows on the iconic “flop wall” at Joe Allen Restaurant with shows including Merrily We Roll Along, Nick and Nora, and Kelly.

54 Below, the celebrated Times Square cabaret venue that is the recipient of a 2022 TONY AWARDS Special Honor for Excellence in the Theater, has announced new board members. James Gunderson, Tom Hood, Howard Lee Morgan, Brian Kaltner, Lee H. Perlman and Susan L Raanan have joined the award-winning supper club board, effective immediately.

54 Below has announced a $300,000 matching gift challenge made possible by a generous donation from the Robert W. Wilson Charitable Trust Fund. The campaign will raise funds to support the institution’s mission to preserve and expand the art of cabaret. 

Eugene O’Neill Theater Center has revealed that Melia Bensussen will be taking the reins of its flagship program, the National Playwrights Conference.

The Tony Award winning non-profit is here to grow, to achieve, and to change the face of cabaret and concert.
