Eastwood, Hicks, Loez Set for Museum of Tolerance Gala, 11/14

Actor and talk show host, George Lopez will serve as Master of Ceremonies at the inaugural Museum of Tolerance International Film Festival Gala honoring acclaimed filmmaker Clint Eastwood on Sunday evening, November 14, it was announced today by Museum officials. Officials also announced the line-up of entertainment for the evening including special guest performances by this season's America's Got Talent grand prize winner Michael Grimm and American Idol winner Taylor Hicks.

They will be joined by an All-Star Big Band and strings featuring the Shelly Berg Trio, Gordon Goodwin, Arturo Sandoval, Tom Scott, and more. Classic favorites such as 'Summertime,' 'Someone to Watch Over Me,' and 'They Can't Take That Away From Me' take on a new twist with pop and jazz interpretations.

The 17-piece band includes guitarists Dean Parks (America, Steely Dan), Ray Parker, Jr. (Raydio, 'Ghostbusters'), keyboardist Michael Bearden (Michael Jackson's last music director), Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Tom Scott, bassist Darryl Jones (The Rolling Stones) and percussionist Lenny Castro (Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton). The all-star ensemble will be on-stage throughout the show.
