Today (Thu 5 May) Assembly Festival, adds a further 90+ shows to its biggest and most dazzling line-up to date which includes returning Fringe favourites, theatrical debuts, international circus, comedy newcomers and the return of The Flick - Assembly’s late-night den off George Square. During August, self-proclaimed Duchess Diane Chorley will be hosting live entertainment at The Flick until 5am.

Coventry UK City of Culture 2021's Festival Hub returns for another fantastic summer season. After calls for the communal social space and arts venue to return last year, the Assembly Festival Garden will reopen on Thursday 14 April bringing five months of world class entertainment to the centre of Coventry. 

Today (Tuesday 1 March) Assembly Festival announces some of the first shows in its 2022 programme which is shaping up to be a return to its full Fringe offering, and will include big names in comedy, international circus, award-winning theatre, plenty of interactive shows for younger audiences, and late-night burlesque. 

Assembly Festival will host an exciting mix of theatre, dance, circus, comedy, music, and more, from Thursday 29 July to Sunday 29 August. Alongside this there will be a stimulating digital programme presented live or on-demand hosted on Assembly's new online venue, Assembly Showcatcher.   

With the sad closure of south London’s Bridge House Theatre, a special online Christmas concert, ‘A Bridge House Farewell - A Christmas Spectacular’, will feature favourite festive songs and readings from an amazing cast of performers - all of whom have performed at the venue over the years and giving their time free of charge.

No fan of Holmes and Watson should miss this excellent production.

WATSON: The Final Problem is an audio interpretation of the classic story, prior to a solo stage adaptation, when allowed!
