Work Light Productions is proud to announce the complete cast for the National Tour of SOMETHING ROTTEN!, which makes its Wisconsin premiere at Overture Center Tuesday, Oct. 9-Sunday, Oct. 14. Local actor and arts administrator (Children's Theater of Madison, Four Seasons Theatre, Capital City Theatre) Brian Cowing will join the national tour's ensemble.

Elish Conlon (White Christmas Natl. Tour) and Tim Fuchs (42nd Street Natl. Tour) teamed up to recreate and film the Jukebox Dance from the classic movie Broadway Melody of the 1940's with Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell. With the help of Katharine Ponza (Tap dance faculty at Broadway Dance Center), Elish learned the dance and taught it to Tim. They both then re-imagined the dance to fit their original concept. This video is meant to honor the directors, performers, behind the scenes crew and highlight the brilliant choreography that made those movies magical. Filmed at the Tarrytown Music Hall, Tarrytown NY. Elish, Tim, Sierra, and Tyler want wish everyone a Happy New year full of blessings!

This beloved and iconic musical by James Kirkwood & Nicholas Dante with a brilliant and show-stopping score by Marvin Hamlisch & Lyrics by Edward Kleban, is a celebration of those unsung heroes of the Musical Theatre, the chorus dancers, valiant, over- dedicated, underpaid and highly trained troopers who back up the star and often make them look more talented. The characters portrayed in A Chorus Line are based upon the real life experiences of Broadway dancers.
