The University of Adelaide's Little Theatre will stage the Australian premiere of Tiny Beautiful Things by Nia Vardalos. Based on the best-selling book by Cheryl Strayed (Wild) and adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Tiny Beautiful Things personifies the questions and answers that “Sugar” published online between 2010-2012. The production opens on Thursday, March 10th at 7:30pm and plays until March 20th. Dates and showtimes are March 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th, and19th at 7:30pm. Matinées are to be held on Sundays, March 13th and March 20th at 4pm.

Who wouldn't like to add a little magic to their life? Comedy Workshop Productions presents a darkly funny, inspiring new comedy about one woman's miraculous escape from the secrets of her past.

The Beverly Hills Theatre Guild is extending the submissions period for its annual Julie Harris Playwriting Awards Competition through March 31, 2022.

The American Theatre Guild will present the Thousand Oaks engagement of the innovative new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC.

The Beverly Theatre Guild is set to stage a production of 'The Sting' by David Rogers. This will be the local premiere of the play. Performances will take place at Morgan Park Academy Arts Center, 2153 W. 111th Street, Chicago on Fri. Feb. 11th & Sat. Feb. 12th @ 7:30 pm and Sun. Feb. 13th @ 2 pm. In a festive mood, the ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society mount another assault on the classics with their stage version of A Christmas Carol.

The Windham Theatre Guild and Arts at the Capitol Theatre (ACT) announced that they will be joining over 2,500 theatrical organizations from all 50 states and over 40 countries in producing their own local production of Music Theatre International’s All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre. Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) created this revue for theatres across the globe to use as a local fundraising event performed over the same weekend of November 12, 2021. 

Mr. Charles Dickens returns to the stage to read his stories just as he did over 160 years ago.  He will read and “perform” short ghost stories that he wrote for his magazines.  This performance, Ghost Stories to Scare the Dickens Out of You, includes five stories.

The Dramatists Guild of America today announced the creation of its first ever Inclusion Rider. As part of its commitment to fostering a more equitable, inclusive, and anti-racist industry, the Guild has crafted this Inclusion Rider as a resource to support all dramatists and producers who have a desire to exercise these principles in the hiring of personnel involved in their productions.

Penfold Theatre Company in partnership with the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas announce the cast for Theatre Guild on Air running September 5 – October 3, 2021, at the Neill-Cochran House Museum.

In a one-person-show written and performed by Ava Hase, we follow the stories of real people who have been impacted by school shootings in America. Their experiences have been transcribed verbatim from interviews, videos, and personal stories. Directed by Oscar Falcon, the play serves as both a collective catharsis and a call for examination of our world and ourselves.

Penfold Theatre Company (Penfold) has announced the titles and dates for the 2021-22 Season. Season 14 will look at the reimagining of classic stories, bringing two “Great Plays in Great Places” productions, the inclusion of Central Texas Philharmonic, and a world premiere for the first in a new play commission series.

In La Divina: The Last Interview of Maria Callas, Shelley Cooper portrays Callas near the end of her life, granting an interview to an unseen broadcast journalist. Callas attempts to keep the talk focused on her art, her work and her career, while the interviewer tries to deflect the discussion onto her scandalous personal life, specifically her complicated relationship with Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis.

The Windham Theatre Guild will present their first live show for 2021 in Willimantic’s Burton Leavitt Theatre…it’s Cry It Out by Molly Smith-Metzler, opening Friday, July 23rd, 2021.

Justice? Or...Just Me? The Bite by Lorinda Hawkins Smith, a world premiere production based on the Justice? Or...Just Me? book series will be at the Hudson Guild Theatre in August (next month). The solo play is written, produced and performed by Lorinda Hawkins Smith with direction by Patricia Bean-Kane.
