Multi-talented 23-year-old Irish/American alternative artist Levi Evans is excited to present his latest single titled “You I Think Of.” Produced by and featuring a guest appearance by the Dublin-based artist CHAMELEON, “You I Think Of” is an offering of sentimental and yearning indie that details the process of drifting apart from someone you love.

A protégée of Quincy Jones and mentored by Stevie Wonder, singer Sheléa graces The Wallis stage with her one-nighter Pretty World: Through the Eyes of Alan & Marilyn Bergman June 25, 2022. Sheléa shared remembrances of her many high-profile events in her life leading up to her Bergmans tribute.

Prolific playwright David Greig has a varied catalogue of work ranging from the recently revived Europe to West End hit Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and his acclaimed adaptation of Touching the Void. He is also Artistic Director of Edinburgh's Royal Lyceum Theatre. Greig's first original play in 7 years Adventures with the Painted People was due to begin its run in Edinburgh this summer but has since been adapted for radio due to the pandemic. The writer spoke with BroadwayWorld about his creative process, the future of theatre and his latest work. 

In 2017, I decided in preparation for hosting my first Tony Party to listen to the nominees for Best Musical and Revival. Listening to these shows introduced me to 'Come From Away,' which opened at Des Moines Performing Arts on January 28. As I listened to the fantastic music, I fell in love with 'Come From Away.' I knew once the tour opened, I would want to see this show as soon as possible. When I looked at the itinerary of the first year of the national tour, the closest location was Omaha. So A few friends and I went to see the show. From the moment the music started, I was transported to Gander, and before I knew it, the show was over. As soon as I left, I was planning my next trip to Gander, which would be the tour stop in Chicago. I'm so excited that it has finally made its way to Des Moines.

Theater On The Edge is extending its run of Talk Radio by Eric Bogosian, through Sunday, February 16th. The dramedy stars theater ensemble members Marco DiGeorge, Adam Minossora, Elaitheia Quinn, and Christopher Ivers alongside a large ensemble cast. Directed by Allan Whitehead, Talk Radio has been receiving glowing reviews and has sold out its initial run of the show, prompting a need for additional performances.

Double Edge Theatre will present its annual Traveling Summer Spectacle performance - this year's I am the Baron. Strange worlds. Fantastical adventures. Mythic visions. Who is Baron Von Munchausen? Hero? Liar? Buffoon? Inspired by the 18th Century book by Rudolf Raspe, I am the Baron is a celebration of the power of stories and storytelling to transform the world. TOTE alum Adam Minossora and Elaitheia Quinn will star alongside theater ensemble member Megan Raitano in Peter Sinn Nachtieb's 2007 dramatic comedy BOOM. Directed by Marco DiGeorge, BOOM will run from November 2 through December 9, 2018 at the emerging Theater On The Edge.

Steep Theatre presents the world-premiere of Calamity West's new play, HINTER. The play was inspired by the Bavarian Hinterkaifeck murders, where six members of one household were brutally murdered in 1922. The case was never solved. HINTER delves into that mystery and attempts to piece together what may have really happened on that fateful night. HINTER opened on January 25th and will run through March 3rd.

Written by Tracy Letts in 2008, the play jumped to Broadway in 2009 and is now a sitcom on CBS. The original play is also now appearing at Theater On The Edge. I had a chance to catch up with Artistic Director, Marco DiGeorge about the show.

Terra Nova's elegant staging and technical elements created an engrossing poetry of action for the brooding tale of men dying in Antarctica. I can't say I warmed-up to all the choices, but warmth wasn't the point of this play. I'll leave it to my reader to see the show and feel the effect of these choices for themselves-yet my own experience lingers in my chest like a shard of ice:
