Alex Edelman's 'Just For Us' returns for seven performances only as part of the Spring 2024 CTG:FWD programming.

Irish Arts Center has revealed the cast of the North American premiere of Lyric Theatre, Belfast’s Agreement.

Back by popular demand, OBIE Award–winning writer and performer Alex Edelman will return to San Francisco’s Curran Theater for one night only with his award–winning solo show, JUST FOR US.

Full casting has been announced for the World Premiere of John Cassavetes' OPENING NIGHT, a new musical with book by Ivo van Hove and music and lyrics by Rufus Wainwright.

The critically acclaimed cast of the smash hit Donmar Warehouse production of the Broadway musical Next to Normal – which sold every seat at every performance across its season at Donmar Warehouse, where the production made its long-awaited UK Premiere –are to return as the show prepares to transfer to London’s West End.

It would be interesting to see the show free from all the fancy listening gear so we can bask in the thrill of seeing Tennant and Jumbo grapple with their actions without a middleman. After all, isn’t part of the beauty of theatre that the audience isn’t separated from the story by a screen of any kind? The run is sold out (as it should be!) and they’re probably already in talks for a transfer (as they should!), but one wonders if this is actually what the future of drama is: a Shakespearean ASMR experience that will be dubbed as immersive. Fair is foul, and foul is fair.
