The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers today announced the casting of the principal roles and the ensemble in the eagerly anticipated Broadway-bound musical MATILDA THE MUSICAL. They are (alphabetically): Karen Aldridge (Mrs. Phelps), Gabriel Ebert (Mr. Wormwood), Lesli Margherita (Mrs. Wormwood), and Lauren Ward (Miss Honey).

According to the show's Facebook page, Emma Hunton Josh Grisetti, and Justin Johnston will join the cast of off-Broadway's RENT on January 20. Johnston wrote on Twitter: 'That's right. I start Jan. 18 at New World Stages in NYC. Who knew... Roger'. Hunton added: 'So excited for rehearsal tomorrow. Make sure you all come down to New World Stages and come see Rent.' The trio will replace Annaleigh Ashford, Adam Chanler-Berat and Matt Shindledecker as Maureen, Mark and Roger.

Mr. Philbin's extraordinary run was celebrated in his final minutes on the show with a surprise performance of Rent's signature song, 'Seasons of Love,' with special lyrics penned for the occasion by the production teams of both shows. Comedy Club TC l4 ' (163 West 46th Street / Between 6th & 7th Avenues) every Thursday night at 11:00pm. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke (Rent) on piano. In addition after the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic goes from 12:00-2am.
