The Drama League has announced the 2017 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. Scroll down for the full list of nominees!

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) presents its annual 2017 Spring Gala 'Act II: Setting the Stage for Roundabout's Future' on Monday, February 27, 2017 in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria (301 Park Avenue, NYC). The evening will honor legendary four-time Tony-winning stage and film actor Frank Langella with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre and Leonard Tow, Founder & Chairman of The Tow Foundation, with the Ovation Award for Excellence in Philanthropy. Acclaimed actor Bryan Cranston will present the award to friend and colleague, Frank Langella. Roundabout Underground alum Jenny Rachel Weiner will present the award to Leonard Tow.

This weekend, Richard Frankel, Tom Viertel, Steve Baruch and the partners at Feinstein's/54 Below generously threw Broadway favorite, Laura Benanti, a baby shower! 

St. Louis' own Fox Theatricals received a 2016 Tony® Award as a producer of THE HUMANS, a new Broadway play by Stephan Karam.  THE HUMANS received a total of four 2016 Tony nominations:  Best Play,  Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play (Reed Birney), Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play (Jayne Houdyshell) and Best Scenic Design of a Play (David Zinn).  The show received additional nominations for Best Lighting Design of a Play (Justin Townsend) and Best Direction of a Play (Joe Mantello).

The evening will be a celebration of Roundabout's 50th Anniversary and will recognize the accomplishments of six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald and Roundabout's Chairman of the Board Tom Tuft and present them with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre.

Tuft and present them with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre. The gala will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria on Monday, February 29, 2016.
