MPAC is continuing its limited capacity concerts this week, but there’s much more going on, including two virtual events and the annual MPAC auction.

Do you miss live shows? Wish you could attend a live concert? Dying to make out with a  stranger after one too many tequila shots in a dark venue? Well, Broadway’s Joey Taranto can’t  help you with the latter, but he can provide you with lot of laughs, a few wild stories, and some  soulful, rock vocals.  

MPAC will stage a series of limited capacity concerts for up to 150 people throughout November and December. From local artists such as James Gedeon and Anthony Krizan to top tribute bands performing the music of Fleetwood Mac, the Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin, there are opportunities to enjoy a wide range of music.

The Factory Theater,1623 W. Howard St., has announced its newest main stage production, Last Night in Karaoke Town, February 14 - March 28, 2020. Written by Mike Beyer and Kirk Pynchon, creators of the Factory hit Hey! Dancin'!, bring the only known tribute to Cleveland in the history of American theater to the Factory this winter, directed by Kim Boler. Resurrection - A Journey Tribute re-creates the experience of a Journey concert from the band's most prolific period at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre January 17 & 18, 2020.

'Rock of Ages has been a bucket list show for me ever since I saw the movie,' explained Andrew Edwards, who portrays Drew in the Alban Arts Center's upcoming production of the hit Broadway jukebox musical. 'I realized it was basically an excuse to be a rock star and scream some awesome rock songs that I'd never otherwise be able to do. I knew that I had to participate in this show in any capacity I could.'

ROCK OF AGES, now playing at the Cygnet Theatre in Old Town through August 25th, is a rock 'n' roll fairytale that wants everyone to have 'nothin' but a good time.'

For decades, The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) has presented family entertainment featuring old favorites in many popular genres, tribute bands and more.

For one night only, the 10th anniversary touring production of Rock of Ages rocked out at Syracuse's Landmark Theatre. The jukebox musical featuring strobe lights, fog effects, classic '80s hits certainly got the crowd going as the cheesy, yet amusing story of love, hope, and dreams played out. It was 'nothing but a good time' as the energetic rock musical came to life under the direction of Martha Banta featuring powerhouse vocals, spot on '80s costume designs by Cynthia Nordstrom, and out of this world lighting by Mike Baldassari.
