In the middle of its acclaimed Cino Nights series, which runs through April 2012, Rising Phoenix Rep presented a workshop on Sunday, March 27th of Maya Macdonald's new play The Really Important People, directed by RPR artistic associate Julie Kline. The workshop featured Stephen Brown, Laura Ramadei, Amy Staats, and Ali Stroker, and will be followed by a full production at the Seventh Street Small Stage at Jimmy's No. 43 in July.

The UK première of the award-winning musical THRILL ME: The Leopold & Loeb Story, with book, music and lyrics by Stephen Dolginoff, will be at the Tristan Bates Theatre, Tower Street,WC2 for a four-week season from Tuesday 5 April until Saturday 30 April 2011, starring George Maguire as Richard Loeb and Jye Frasca as Nathan Leopold and with off-stage dialogue recorded by Les Dennis, Patricia Quinn and Lee Mead.

Following the sold out performances and overflow crowds at its first four Cino Nights presentations, Rising Phoenix Rep continued the series with a packed house on January 23rd with Kristen Palmer's THE STRAY DOG, described as 'a play obsessed with the great Russian poet Anna Akhmatova and dedicated to any who dare endure in the folly and the imperative that is art. Songs will be sung. Poems read. Dreams dashed. Vodka drunk. These are dangerous times.'
