Smith & Kraus Publishes Roundabout's PROSPECT HIGH: BROOKLYN

Roundabout Theatre Company have announced that Smith & Kraus has published the workshop edition of the new play, PROSPECT HIGH: BROOKLYN, by Daniel Robert Sullivan and a team of New York City teenagers, developed in partnership with Education at Roundabout and the Fox Foundation Resident Actor Fellowships.

After playing sold out shows across the country, The Amazing Max, the "awesome and hilarious live magic show for the whole family" (PBS Kids) starring magician Max Darwin (aka "The Amazing Max") returns to delight New York audiences in a month-long holiday engagement at the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center - MMAC (248 West 60th Street - between Amsterdam and West End Avenues). Performances begin today, November 28 and continue through Wednesday, December 31.

The Colorado Theatre Guild Announces Nominees for the Upcoming Henry Awards

The Colorado Theatre Guild's 9th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd in Arvada, Colorado. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction. The awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by an after-party. Tickets are $23 for CTG members (limit 2 per person), $30 non-members or $50 VIP. Tickets go on sale beginning July 1 by phone only through the Arvada Center Box Office by calling 720-898-7200.

PlayPenn Announces Lineup for 2014 New Play Conference

PlayPenn, Philadelphia's nationally recognized professional new play development organization, announces the directors, dramaturgs, actors and designers that will participate in its 10th annual New Play Development Conference. Catherine Trieschmann is back in New York at Women's Project Theater with a tart, satirical skewing of small town cultural wars entitled The Most Deserving. This New York premiere by the acclaimed playwright of crooked and How The World Began (also produced by Women's Project Theater) who is a resident of a small town in western Kansas is directed by Shelley Butler and begins previews Sunday, March 30, at 2:30pm for an opening Tuesday, April 8, at 7:30pm (runs through May 4) at New York City Center Stage II, 131 West 55th Street. Rehearsals begin today, Friday, March 7.
