Just opened at the Pasadena Playhouse, recently crowned recipient of the 2023 Regional Tony Award, the Los Angeles premiere of Pulitzer Prize-finalist Zora Howard’s Stew. Tyler Thomas directs the cast of LisaGay Hamilton, Roslyn Ruff, Jasmine Ashanti and Samantha Miller. LisaGay graciously found some time after the opening to answer a few of my queries.

Paramount+, the streaming service from ViacomCBS, today announced it will exclusively premiere MTV Documentary Films’ award-winning slate including two feature-length documentaries, titled 'Ascension' and 'Sabaya'. four documentary shorts and one animated short. The films are Executive Produced by Sheila Nevins.

Just yesterday, the Women's Forum of New York presented The 7th Annual Elly Awards Luncheon benefiting The Education Fund of the Women's Forum on Monday, June 19th at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. The awards, named for the Women's Forum founder Elinor Guggenheimer, honor outstanding women leaders. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Education Fund of the Women's Forum, which has has helped over 200 women over age 35, whose lives have been disrupted by extreme adversity, complete their college degrees.
