The word 'meshugge' seemed to really pop out for the audience, receiving a big laugh when uttered by Tevye the night this reviewer thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully acted and sung National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's production of Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick and Joseph Stein's classic 1964 musical based on the stories of Sholem Aleichem, Fiddler on the Roof.

Producers Hal Luftig and Jana Robbins in association with Sandy Block announced that the critically-acclaimed National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish begins previews on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Stage 42 (422 W 42nd St.). The production will open officially on Thursday, February 21, 2019 and will play a limited engagement through June 30, 2019.

Michele Ragusa To Guest Instruct Song Interpretation & Audition Prep Workshop

Actress Michele Ragusa will be teaching a song interpretation and audition prep workshop as a guest instructor at Theatrical Artist's Prep in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. The workshop is open to teens and adults 14 and older and will be capped at 10 students to ensure one-on-one attention. It will run from Jan. 13 to Jan. 20, and will take place on Sundays from 12-3 p.m.

Calling all actors! Theatrical Artist's Prep of Scotch Plains, NJ signs exclusivity with one of NY's top acting schools, Actors Technique NY. The schools partner to bring top notch on-camera acting and technique classes to New Jersey residents as well as industry networking opportunities for those interested in breaking into the business. Their partnership will officially launch on July 22nd with a one day TV/Film workshop scheduled for Sunday, July 22, 2018 from noon to 4:00 pm. NY coaches from Actors Technique NY will lead the event focusing on improv for TV/Film and on-camera act and audition Technique. NY talent agent, Dina Torre of Generation TV will be attendance, offering constructive criticism and information on how to navigate the industry.
