Western Connecticut State University's Department of Theatre Arts announced the live show 'Marat/Sade' opening on Friday, April 21, and running through Sunday, April 30, at the university's Visual and Performing Arts Center (VPAC), 43 Lake Ave. Extension, Danbury.

Beginning December 17th at 7:30 PM, pianist Sara Davis Buechner premieres Of Pigs and Pianos — the new one-woman show of her extraordinary life story in music & words. This theatrical & musical evening consists of excerpts from her recently-completed autobiography, illustrated with luminous piano performances, visual imagery & dramatic narration.

The series comprises four unique productions that will be broadcast twice over two weekends spanning Thursday, Apr. 29, through Sunday, May 9. It is Directed by Sal Trapani, Produced by Pamela McDaniel, Choreographed by Amy Jones, Costumed by Liz Popiel and Kim Poe,Lighting by J.
